Going to the cinema may not be the best option, as you don’t get the chance to talk to each other for a few hours. Agreeing to meet up for a dinner date at night may lead to disaster as many restaurants create a dimly lit romantic atmosphere. A good choice would be meeting up for lunch as this will give you enough time to assess whether you like the person or not. If you fancy them, then let the date continue onto a late lunch and maybe even dinner. If you can’t stand them then make your excuses and be on your way.
From a safety point of view, more so for girls, it’s advisable to pick an open and public location where people can see you. Arranging a date during the day is also safer than night.
